  • Radial Nerve (posterior interosseous nerve)

The radial nerve divides into deep and superficial branches in the proximal forearm near the radial head. The deep branch becomes the posterior interosseous nerve after passing through the supinator. The superficial branch continues to the hand and doesnt give motor branches in the forearm.

Prior to dividing the radial nerve innervates Brachioradialis and ECRL directly. All other muscles are innervated by the deep branch or its continuation the posterior interosseous nerve.
