Thymus
The thymus is an organ of the immune system located in the anterior superior mediastinum. It is located anterior to the heart and posterior to the sternum.
It is made up of 2 lobes and has a cortex and a medulla. It is the site of maturation of T-lymphocytes. It regresses after puberty.
