Flumazenil

Flumazenil Key Points:

Benzodiazepine antagonist
Half life shorter than midazolam and diazepam
It can be given intravenously but not intra-muscularly
May cause withdrawal symptoms in patients who are dependent on benzodiazepines and can precipitate convulsions therefore should be used with caution.
